Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

All Species Animal Hospital offer a dental package throughout the year, including a thorough dental cleaning, comprehensive bloodwork, anesthesia, post-op observation, and monthly courtesy fluoride treatments.

During every dental cleaning, our patients receive full-mouth evaluation to identify issues such as defects in the enamel layer, fractures, inflamed or infected pulps, and severe periodontal disease. These issues are some of the reasons that teeth should be extracted. All pet owners will be advised if it is determined that extractions are needed at additional cost.
